AR-15 120 round drum

I bought one of these and it is hard to get in and out of the magazine well. Any suggestions? It will not feed the last 20 round or so, how many times should I wind the spring or do I have another problem.

  An oversized feed tower is a common problem with these magazines. I used a belt sander on mine until they went in easily. I then used cold blue on the feed tower and they look fine now.
  
  I have found that the drum needs extra winds as it nears empty. I have been afraid to wind too tight to start with, but maybe that is what needs to be done.
