Para Ordnance P 12

Has anyone had any experince with th p12 I just bought one used ,I can shoot abuut 40 rounds throught it and then will have to remove extractor and tune , ive put a new extractor in it just keeps jamming . Im about to get rid of it!

  The only thing I can think of is because it is small, the type of ammo you are running through it might be to much for it, you may want to try a lighter target load and see how that works.

  and what I mean by small is that the .45 was made for a full size 5" barrle gun not for a 3".

  In my experience, the Para-Ordnance P-series guns are great but aren't perfect out-of-the-box and often require some tuning. I had all sorts of reliability problems with my new P-13. Needless to say, I don't own it anymore. I don't require a competition grade firearm for my purposes but I do want one that functions right out of the box.

  Ive tried all types of ammo ,Changed the recoil spring today at the range,shot 50 rounds with out a hitch!Dont think i would use it for a carry gun!

  try polishing the ramp and hold it steady if you ride up with the recoil it will jam.
