Ithaca ???????
I had a guy come in my shop today and asked me if I would be interested in an Ithaca Auto & Burglar shotgun.He didn't have it with him so he attempted to discribe it.He stated you held it like a pistol and it had about a 12 in barrel????? I never seen one and then he told me it was over 50 years old.He is returning this weekend with the gun and I would appriciate any info on this weapon.

Rappidfire, the Blue Book of Gun Values lists the Ithaca Auto & Burglar as a side X side in a 20 gauge w/ 10" barrels. Two different models are listed- A (2,500 made) & B (2,000 made) They were manufactured between 1922-1934. Model A serial # range: 343,366-398,365. The B serial # range: 425,000-464,699.
A Values: $1850.00, 1450.00, 1200.00, 975.00 (100%,98, 95, 90)
B Values: $1450.00, 1200.00, 975.00, 775,00
Prototype / Special order guns (in 16, 28, or 410) are rare and add 100% premium- Original holster also adds $300-$500-
It also says, "Guns not currently registered w/ BATF cannot be legally owned and are subject to seizure."[V]

Thanks Saftdave,It's almost sounds to good to be true since he told me he want's 100.00 for it.He seemed like a bit of a squirrel and I sure as hell don't want any trouble with the ATF.
