LUEPOLD ALASKAN SCOPE

I'm looking for any info on this scope,when made,how rare,value,and where can I get 7/8 rings for it...thanks

I might be wrong on this? but your scope MIGHT be a "Lyman Alaskan" rather then a Leupold. My information is they started selling these in the late 30's.
You will have to give us a specific description of the scope, i.e. Markings, Serial Number, Power, Reticule, Finish, Condition etc,etc. For us to help you.

I am familiar with the Lyman Alaskan,these are both Luepold Alaskan scopes.They are a high quality copy supposably made early 90's for 1 year.7/8 tube like the originals,duplex recticles.I'm tring to find out the values and where I can find 7/8 rings...Mike...how rare are they

L-e-u-p-o-l-d orginals in good-excellent condition are desired by basically two customers. Optical collectors, and gun collectors who want to correctly 'peroidize' the gun with correct parts/accessories of that age.
Sellable market prices can range from $75-$140.

Have couple sets of Leupold 7/8" rings. Some still in boxes.
