old revolver question

i have an old revolver i need to identify. it has a star just above the grip with an arrow in the center of it.just below the star it says 1939. it has a 7 shot cylinder with a plunger that folds out to help eject the spent shell from the cylinder.wooden checkered grips..about .31 inch diameter barrel...anyone know what this is? or what it is worth?

  no pics but i just found out it is a soviet nagant revolver...how much do those go for?

  I believe your revolver is a "Nagant Model 1895", which was the service handgun of both the Csarist & Soviet Armies for some 50 years. Dating from the 1890's to W W II.
  It took the 7.62 x 38R Nagant cartridge, that was specially made to utilize the "gas seal" design of this revolver.
  
  Bunch of them have been imported in recent years (Arsenal refinished with holsters). This has caused the collectors market to tank. $75 - $150 what you probably could get for yours, if it's in good shape.
