Savage/Stevens 325 Bolt Action

What is the difference between the Savage/Stevens 325 & 340 bolt action rifles? I found a Stevens 325 30-30 in a pawn shop that needs alot of TLC for $100. I've seen the 340's from time to time, but not a 325; is it just older? I was told the 325's are worth more than the 340. This one is all original and does not have any drill & tap holes.

  The Stevens model 325 was made from 1947-1950The Savage model 340 started production in 1950.They are basicly the same gun.The 325 is earlier production.
