A word of caution, there are pre Garcia Sakos that take one type of peep site and post Garcia. They only have an adjustment for 100meter and 200 meter range even though the 30-06, 8mm and 308 will shoot beyond that range. Also if your weapon has a bull barrel does it have a SAKO front site or an after market site, Now that you are confused I can only say that they are great rifles and I have twon that I have been shooting for over 35 years and they are GREAT GUNS.

This particular sight slides forward onto the tapered machined top plate and a thumbscrew on the right side of it is tightened to hold it in place. There is no adjustment for windage. Any adjustment would have to be done at the front sight blade or post. However, the aperture in the center does turn 360 degrees, with 180 degrees with an indicator for "100" and when turned another 180 degrees it is marked "200." I am assuming you are talking about the rear "Peep" sight here. If not, this may not apply.

Thanks Gents, that pretty well answeres my question. I have 2 sakos also, a .223 VIXEN and a SAKO MANNLICHER .375, the latter is the one I would like a "peep" sight for. Great shooting guns both!!

I have two Sako peep sights that are used on .308 and .243 carbines. Both are windage and elevation adustable using opposing screws as well as the 100/200 yard rotating peep. They work great.
