XP-100R: Anyone threaded a barrel?

I've got an NFA registered suppressor for my AR15 and I wonder if I could use it on my XP-100R chambered in .223.

The suppressor is threaded in "standard" AR/M16 pitch. Seems doable, has anyone done this[?]

  I have done a few of these.
  I am not at my shop but it seems like it is a 1/2"X28 thread.
  Simple for anybody with a lathe.

  Didn't they have some suppressors in some odd 1/2x32tpi thread?

  I thought suppresors were limited to one gun and you couldn't swap them around. I could be wrong here as I live in the PRK and you can't get no suppresors here.

  The suppressor is the taxed and registered part.

  I have threaded some barrels.
  
  The only threads I ever used was 1/2" UNF, I believe it was the 1/2"*28 - but I can't remember for sure and I also used a "M15*1-thread"
  
  I don't know the AR/M16 pitch.
  It is most likely 1/2" UNF if it's a .223Rem-caliber.
  Larger calibers like the HK G3A3 have the flashhider mounted on a M15*1-thread - 15 millimeters in diameter and one thread per lengthwise millimeter.
  
  But try to find a workshop, they will have a chart of the usual threads - sizes, pitch and so on.
  It's easier to find it there.
  
  Threading the barrel is not all that difficult.
  But I would recommend to take your weapon to a gunsmith or ask a gunsmith as to where they can make something like this.

  Actually, it is not that tight. Once you have a legit suppressor, you can attach it to any legit firearm. They are separate.
