How hard is it to install an ambidextrous safty on a 1911a1 which does not have one

  can an barrel on an 12ga Mossberg 195K shotgun be change. I have pits in the middle of the barrel and would like to change it to an fully rifle barrel.

  You would need to raise the ejector a little to lower the ejection angle. I'll take a look at my AK when I get home and see if it can be done without having to relieve the bolt/carrier for clearance.

  You could try cutting a (one) coil off of the ejector spring so they don't kick out so hard. OK as long as it doesn't impair reliability.

  Sounds like an extractor problem more so than ejector, I would reduce the tension on the extractor and get some small Dia. rubber hose (Like used on windshield washers/wipers) and slit it and glue it to the bolt cover around the ejection port.

  Thanks you guys,the rubber hose seems like the best idea.I've noticed that all the AK type actions including the Saiga seem to do this.
