Go over to Havlin Sales at www.havlinsales.com Havlin has all sorts of hard to find Mossberg parts- I've put quite a few old .22 Mossbergs back together (and made a few bucks) with their help. What ever happened with that M1 Garand you were looking at last year?

    Mark,

What a memory!! Tried for days to get the guy at the pawn shop to come down to what you guys told me was a more reasonable amount. Never would do it and I passed on the deal. Still think I should have sucked it up and bought it. In my older years, with a little more cash, I think I am paying more than I should for some of the things I want but are finding harder to find.

As far as I know, it is still there if you want to travel all the way to Killeen (home of Fort Hood) TX.

Thanks for the lead on the part. I will contact them tomorrow and let you know what I find.

Mark gave you a good tip. Havelin is your best source. He has someone making new knobs to fit the 151. They would probably also work on the 51a or 51b, but I don't think they would work on the 51.
The design is quite different between the 51 and 51a. Check the model # marking carefully.
    Be careful, have fun!

Loan shark i sent you an e-mail. I believe the 51m is the same as the 151m and i may have a spare bolt with cocking knob in my mossberg parts box. Let me know if you cannot find one and i will look .

    It's All Crapola!!!
