Help identifying shotgun?

I bought this recently, it is a 12 gauge with a very thick barrel, 32in and is marked "Super Range Goose Gun" which I understand was a inhouse brand name of Sears. There was folded piece of paper under the buttstock, with the original owners name, address, and 1930. There are no makers identifications anywhere on the gun (I have had it apart). There is a serial # 508MS stamped on everything including the wood. I have a Numrich parts catalouge, but cannot find it anywhere. It is not an H&R or Iver Johnson I assume, because I can find no internal workings that are near these. It is a fluid steel barrel, and like I mentioned, extremely thick at the breech and at the other. It seems to be very well made, and works fine. It has a 3 in chamber, and is a breakdown. Any help would be great.

  Thanks, I have poured over the Savage/Stevens listings in the Numrich catalog, and although similar to some Stevens models, there is nothing with the same internal workings or barrel mounting system. Perhaps it is a model Numrich does not have a schematic for. Thanks again. Mark

  my first thought when i saw the markings on top of the barrel was that it is an iver johnson, but the overall appearance is more like a w.h. davenport product.
  
  it dosen't look like a stevens product.
  
  my references list super range as sold by sears roebuck & co. manufacturer unknown. your gun is so much like large gauge davenport's i have seen that i would say there is a 99% chance it was manufactured by davenport.
