Chain Gun

In the war TV reporting I hear reference to a 25mm chain gun in use on the APC (as I recall). 25mm, about one inch caliber, is a pretty serious weapon. Would appreciate someone give a description of the chain gun.

  Many thanks, IAMACLONE_2, great lead. After I posted the question I did a google search and got a number of hits about chain guns. The name comes from the fact that the breeching/feeding/extracting is chain driven by a motor, rather than by gas, recoil other common method. I found references in bore sizes from 7.62 Nato up to 30mm. Some with several barrels, Gatling style.
