10/22 mag scope mount
My new 10/22 mag has crazy slots in the reciever for scope mounts, do I have to order ruger rings or does someone else make them?

RINGS COME STANDARD WITH YOUR RIFLE. SHOULD BE IN THE BOX. IF NOT CONTACT RUGER.

If I'm not mistaken, they are just Weaver cross-bolt style. I never used any of the factory Ruger ones... I either used aftermarket (usually Leupold), but most often I use raised scopemounts by Weaver or Millet. I really like to use open sights as well as the scope. 0 -
Those "slots" fit standard .22 size scope rings, used for smaller .22 size scopes. There are some 1" rings available thru some of the major parts guys if you want to put on a real scope. I actually wound up mounting a Weaver rail designed for the pre-tapped receiver holes on my 10/22, and used standard 1" rings. If your Ruger has the hole blanks in the top of the receiver, you might try it that way.

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6!0 -
You don't get it, there is no threaded holes. I finally found a weaver adapter from a custom shop. 50 bucks, bummer 0 -
