info on old Remington and Stevens .22 rifles

I need your help guys. I have been given two .22 rifles and would like to get some info on them. The firstis a semi-auto and reads Springfield Model 87M J Stevens Arms Co. Chicopee Falls, Mass. I cannot locate a serial number. This rifle has a military look or M1 and is from late forties, early fifties. The other is a bolt action Remington Matchmaster model 513-T from probably the fifties. Any info you have will be greatly appreciated such as quality, value, shootabilty, parts etc. Thanks

  Found information on your Stevens model 87.
  It's the tube-magazine version of the Model 57 semi-auto .22 that was first made in the 30's and was clip fed.
  Your rifle dates from the same era and was made prior to 1948, as Savage quit using the Stevens-Springfield name at that time. They continued selling the same basic rifle under the Savage name for another 40 years.

  Hello the stevens 87m is worth between $400 to 600 depending on condition and the 513t is in the $200 range. hope this helps. Tim

  Out of curiosity, what is the difference between the 87m and the 87a.

  Your Remington 513T was manufactured from 1940-1969. I own one of them along with a Remington 540x. Pending If the 513T has the Redfield sight on it or not is some of the value, along with the condition. It is a very accurate .22 . Ttrifle was a tad low on the estimate of $200. My re-estimate is in the $350-400 range without optics.
