How hard is it to put an extended mag release on my 10/22?

  I am mechanically challenged, and I was able to do it in about 15 minutes!

  Did it come with instructions?
  If so just follow them,
  and you should have no problems at all.
  They are well worth the effort.

  pretty easy job for the do it yourselfer. Not too many parts to get lost or fly across the room. If you are in a hurrry, it can take you an hour. If you take your time, it takes about 10 minutes.
  
  Remove the stock. push out a pin, clean & lube the parts, put back together. I think there is less than 5 parts you even have to touch; a pin, plunger, spring, release, & action.
