first off go to this site lots of info there
http://www.sixgunner.com/faq/ruger_serial_numbers.htm
looks like the 91 prefix guns started in 1971, for someone to put a value on your gun they would need a lot more info and pictures would be a great help, good luck0 -
Your gun would probably sell in the $200-250 range.

Don't have any info in front of me, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong! If it's a "Super" Bearcat, which sounds likely, it probably came out around '71, as the hawk stated. I believe that the original came out in the late 50's and had a plain cylinder. Check if it has a transfer bar. If it does, it was either retrofitted (which will drop collector value), or it was one that came out, I believe, around '93 or so. Same goes for having a magnum cylinder, the newer ones came with them. (post-93...?). Seems that even Ruger states that no stainless models were made until last year, but I handled one in '93....?, and decided on the blued for my wife. She's been offered 400, but that is the value to a guy who wanted one really bad. I've fired the older models, but never have owned one, but on the model the wife has, the hammer screw has a tendency to loosen a hair with each cocking motion. I really couldn't tell you the value in any case, but if I had the money, I'd buy every one I could find, sweet little gun! 0
