The CMP has some Kimber 22's with some minor surface rust that cleans up very easy for 400.00 sights included.Great rifle

Is the trigger adjustable on the Custom model? There is a hole to adjust it but I didn't know if they just use the same trigger on all models regardless of it's adjustability. It's a first generation model (i.e. not a 'II').

What a responce? The adjustment in the trigger is for over travel,and dosnt really need to be adjusted on most Kimbers as it is set to a working minimum at the factory.If you want a lighter trigger pull you would be well advised to locate a professinal 1911 gunsmith and have him lighten it. they in fact are, but I agree i wouldn't adjust it, really no need to.

smith629 is correct. That adjustment screw, accessed through the hole in front of the trigger, is for overtravel only. It does nothing to eliminate creep or lighten the pull. This would be accompliished by stoning the hammer and sear and tweeking the sear spring, which should be done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Without the NRA, the second ammendment would already be gone!
