Huski H-5000
I recently acquired a 30.06 H-5000 Husqvarna.
Curious to know when they were made and how I might come by an operation and disassembly manual.
Thanks for any help.

Forward, the serial # will help with the when...But in general, late 40's into the 60's. I had 3 Huskies myself, sold one to my brother but still have 2. I am not sure on a manual, but I have a book called Bolt Actions of The World that gives an excellent break down of the rifle with other good history info. I like mine alot, hope you have as good of an experience with yours !!!!!!! DD2B 0 -

Your "HUSKY" Model 5000 was made specifically for a American importer/distributor by the name of "TRADEWINDS" located in Tacoma, Washington.
I believe your rifle was made no later then the early 70's.
To the best of my knowledge Tradewinds has been out of business for many years.
Even Husqvarna has been absorbed, and produces rifles by another name now.
It's not likely you will be able to get a originial manual for your rifle unless you go to one of the ephemria dealers who specialize in firearms related material on the net.0
