stock question

I rebarreled a rifle and the barrel was a smaller around than the first. Now I have a gap between the barrel and the sides of the barrel chanel. The barrel glassed well to the bottom but it looks
weard with the gap on the sides. Is there any way to fill the sides in so it looks good or do I need to get a new stock????

  How do you tell if a Remington 700 wood stock is long action or short?

  Also it's a ADL.

  elect1mike ...Try "microbed compound"! I got some from Brownell's some time ago. And use this to re-glassbed the barrel area. Good Luck! ...Mark
