Why are some barrels "wobbly" with the slide back and some are solid?

It seems to me if the barrel is wobbly it would affect the accuracy.

"...century replacement barrels..." As in Century Arms? I wouldn't touch anything from Century Arms. They don't know what the term 'QC' means. And $50 is far too cheap for a decent barrel for anything.

Kind of depends on for what gun. Century Arms builds most of their semi-autos from surplus parts kits. Their comleted guns are a prime example of WECSOG, but the parts kits and pieces can run the full gammut from very bad to new.

There parts weapons and parts ie., barrels often need a lot of fitting and the quality is not always what most people are looking for. You have to ask your self if it cost $600 to manufacture a weapon how good is the barrel, could it be a reject.
