SAR-3 Make it better

What can I do to make a SAR-3 better? I like the 5.56 round. I want to do a 1 MOA at 200yards. So is it optics? Maybe gun smith? I would appreciate any and all comments.

  The SAR-3 is an AK-variant, well known for reliability, not well known for great accuracy. You would need a better barrel probably. If you want an accurate 223, look at something AR-based.

  The barrel is short and plus with the AK47 gas system, the design isnt really suited for match grade accuracy. I would snag a mount and get a good Kobra red dot. Now, if you go putting a big ass scope on your AK its gonna look dumber than hell. But thats your choice.

  The AK variants aren't usually very accurate. It could probably be done, but the price tag would be at or above the cost of an target-grade AR. The 223 AK's will shoot surprisingly good groups, but 1 MOA is a big step.
