PC-9 pistol grip?

If I wanted to add a pistol grip to a Ruger PC-9, how would I go about doing this? Does the 10/22 accessories fit the PC-9 or is there no other options to do so?

  You can probably figure out a way to achieve this but I'd be very cautious about doing it until you get an answer about whether this might just be prohibited under the 1994 Assault Weapons laws. I know you can have two selections off the list of defined "features" (pistol grip, detachable magazine, etc.) but not sure if adding something not generally available on the factory model is a no-no.
