Trying to load 7.62 x 39 with a 110 grain bullet and H4895 powder. Looking for powder weight max?

  You don't say what diameter bullet you are using, or what you plan to shoot it in.
  Both really matter if you're trying for accuracy or safety.
  If it's for an sks; I'm assuming you know that the usual diameter of the chicom/russian ammo is .311" and wondered if you were using Enfield pulled components or just some off-the-shelf bullets.
  If it's for an American-made firearm; you really should use .308" diameter bullets.
  I'm also assuming you want a faster, more powerful load for plinking, and that's why you want to load a 110gr. bullet in a cartridge designed to work best with 123-150gr. bullets.
  
  Whichever: the best all-around load for a mini-30 using 110gr. Sierra #2110 Varminter HP's, W-W brass, CCI-200 (large rifle) primers, cases trimmed to 1.525", starting 10% below ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM SAFE LOAD of 29.3 grains of H4895. You/your rifle will like something on the way up.

  Not all American 7.62x39s are .308; my Colt AR upper is marked .311 and shoots noticabely better with .311s that it does with .308s.

  When I had a SKS,I bought some Lapua brass(good stuff)and Remington 123grain soft point bullets and carefully made some first class ammo to deer hunt with.It would not shoot in that SKS nearly as well as the 2 dollar a box steel case communist surplus I bought at gun shows.
