Garand Birthday?

Does anyone have the month that Springfield serno 1371164 was made. I know it was 43 as the barrel is 12/43 and the cartouche is JLG, but I would like to know the month the action was made. Thanks!

  I tried to respond to your e-mail but it was returned to me as not deliverable- some sort of error. Trust me, I NEVER ignore a request for M1 information from anyone! Your M1 was made in around Febuary of 1943 so your barrel date may not be correct for your receiver. The JLG cartouche is however incorrect and was used only on post war Springfield production in the 4.2 to 4.35 million range. The correct stock marking for your rifle would be G.A.W..
