Looking for the new smith and wesson model 500 .50 cal, do you guys know where I might find one.............

  does that mean it cannot be purchased yet...........????? The word I'm getting is that the suppliers can't keep them in, this would mean they are available but hard to find. It sounds like you're saying they aren't available yet. Do you know?????????

  I had heard it wasn't due for release yet for another couple weeks. Maybe things are ahead of schedule. I'll have to look into it.

  I'm hearing like $2.50 to 3.50 per bullet for the bullets. Smith and Wesson has asked Cor-Bon to develop the loads for them and the 3 loads that are available are 275 gr. barnes x @ 1665 fps/ 1688 ft/lbs., the 400 gr. hawk @ 1675 fps/ 2500 ft/lbs., and the 440 gr. HC cast performance at 1625 fps/ 2580 ft/lbs. I found this website that tells all about the new 500.

  I found a dealer near me in Georgetown, SC that says they won't be shipped until mid April and he should have them around then. He has 2 coming, and we've scooped up both..........

  We are S@W authorized dealers and they told us originally April release. I have now heard rumors of June or July now . Ammo I was told was $35.00 dealer cost for 15 rounds. Thats all I can tell guys.

  The S&W model 500 has not been released for sale as yet.
  It has caused the usual well rehearsed hysteria among the gun banning leftist communists. Who have gone into the demonization mode and called for it to be banned even before it is released for sale, Just hand on it'll be out soon. I plan to buy one. If for no other reason to chap off the liberals, besides it will go nicely with my .50 AE Desert Eagle, and Taurus BFR revolver in .45-70.
