I just saw a Redfield receiver sight on GB auction for $200
Are they really worth that or is this guy just dreaming?

  All the M12's sold by CMP without sights created a demand for the Redfield Olympic, International and Palma sights. The prices for these used sights just about doubled after the M12 buyers bought them up.
