Any Colt 1911 experts in Dallas area

Gentlemen and/or ladies, I have a Colt 1911 I would like to have looked at by someone in the Dallas area. Or maybe anyone can tell me something about it. First of all, This gun is nickel plated or stainless ( I don't know the difference), It's has the Colt markings all over it, and all the patent dates and serial numbers point to a colt. However, all resources show that this gun was only available in the blued finish the year it was made. Was this gun re-done and if so, How? They did a fine job in my opinion.

I would like to have looked at though. Thanks

  Go over to SPC on Beltline and Josey in the Carrollton area. Let him look at it for you.
