AA 5744 in .375 H&H

Has anyone reloaded 250 gr lead in the .375H&H with AA 5744?? I called Action Arms tech branch as their loading manual doesn"t list it, and they said they are getting a bunch of calls for that caliber, but havn't shot it yet. Have you loaded it up yet, and what's your data??

  The new ACCURATE Arms book shows a load for the 255 gr. Flat nose gas check bullet.
  Start load is 34 gr. AA5744 @ 1771 fps.
  Maximum- 47 gr. @ 2310
  That's the only load they show for a lead bullet.

  Thanks I.Shute, I thought I had the latest Accurate manual, but guess not, wonder why the tech rep at Accurate didn't tell me about the 255gr load.??Thanks again

  Got it from the #2 Loading Guide.
  
  Maybe the tech rep got hold of some of that hemp that JumpTrap's looking for.

  Yep ISHUTE, it is a fine round. I've been shooting it since 1983, Have had Mausers, Winchesters and now a Sako Mannlicher I bought right here at GB. I've shot deer, antelope, elk, bear with them. Very accrate too.
