Sig 229 or Glock 19 9mm?

I am thinking about getting a new carry gun and I have narrowed it down to the Glock 19 or the Sig 229 in 9mm.I was wondering of anyone nows which is the better choice between the two as far as accuracy and reliability.

  I have owned both. What ever decision you make you will not go wrong. That being said I like the Sig. It just feels good in my hand. That is the issue. Feel the gun. Shoot the gun. Which ever feels the best and you shoot well with is the one to go with. My 2 cents. [8D]

  No such thing as "best." The "best" is the one that fits YOUR hand the best. If it doesn't fit the brand is hardly an issue.

  Got a couple 19s myself and they are great.That being said if I were you I would rent both,and a couple other reputable brands and see which one you are most comfortable with.CW

  i second nunn. he and i both carry the 229. mine is 357 sig, i believe his is a 40S&W. these calibers are much more capable than the 9mm, and the gun is the exact same size. In fact, if you buy a .357sig or .40 you can buy the other two barrels, just drop them in and you have a new calibber gun. this will NOT work if you buy the 9mm gun.

  I have a 229 in .40/ .357 SIG. Great gun. I agree with the last two guys, if you want a 229, go .40 or .357. Also the 239 in .40 or .357 is really nice also and smaller.
