Browning A-5 with poly-choke?

I have recently purchased a nice Belgium made 20 ga.A5. The gentleman I bought it from insists That the poly-choke was on the gun when he bought it brand new in 1973. Did Browning ever distribute A 5's with the poly-choke installed, or did the gun shop more than likely install this?

  Your barrel has had a poly-choke installed after it left the factory.
