I am days "though it seems like years away" from purchasing my first AR-15 and I went with a Rock River Arms brand Standard A-2 post ban. I guess my question is.... Does anyone know if it is as good as say a Colt or an Olympic Brand? RRA has a match trigger and they guarntee accuracy 1 MOA at 100 yards. Did i buy the right rifle or should I have just put up the $350 extra to get a Colt or Bushmaster?
Also if anyone lives in the Lincoln NE area and knows of a good outdoor range or a league I can join please let me know.

The barrel it comes with is a Natl Match Wilson Chome moly barrel which I hear is different that chrome lined. If this is an issue I'd say get the stainless barrel.
Recently, I seen 4 new Bushmaster rifles come in (I work part time a a gun shop) with loose rear sight assemblies. The whole rear A2 sight assembly actually moves left & right on its base of both the detachable handle and the fixed handle uppers. My Rock River doesn't do that.
My Rock River which I ordered from the factory took 5 weeks to get to me. Seems Rock River actually made mine for me. They don't have piles of them lying around like Bushmaster.
Why don't you send me the extra $350 dollars you saved so you won't feel guilty. Or take that $350 and either buy mags & ammo with it or got get some cool field gear at http://www.blackhawkindustries.com/

RRA builds fine AR's; ask the fellow who runs White Oak Precision in Illinois, John Holliger. He often uses RRA for the basis of his tuned service & match rigs. He's probably the finest AR trigger guy around too & will do a great job if you send him your two-stage RRA trigger group for a tune-up.

I am a RR fan. I get 1/2 " at 100yds, w/ my own ammo.
Could'nt do that with an olympic arms no matter what I
