Winchester Mod 54 value
Good day all, I am looking for a little help on what the value of a Winchester modle 54 would be:
Serial # 43XXXA/220 swift/furniture @ 90 to 95%/bluing @ 85%/has original metal butt plate and swivels/bore is good/ action is smooth/ snaps good/is taped for scope/ 24" barrel
Now here is the kicker, the owner has ground the rear sight down smooth with the top of the barrel. The front blade portion of the front sight has been ground off as well.
I can't believe that someone would do that to a rifle, but I have seen it with my own eyes !!!!!!Thanks in advance for the help. DD2B

whom ever did the butcher job ruined any collector value as well, only valve left is as a 'shooter'. i would guess $200/300. 0
