98 Mauser bolt handle

Can someone tell me how the bolt handle on a 98 Mauser can be put over on the left side for a South Paw. I have seen guns done in this manner but I don't know how to do it. Thank you for any information you may share with me.

  Its not necessarily a bolt issue as much as a receiver issue.
  This means you have to have a left-hand receiver.
  cheaper(imho) to purchase a ready-made southpaw rifle.[8D]

  Converting a Mauser to left-hand has been done but I would consider it to be cost prohibitive. Especially when you can get a nice commercial lefty for under $400.

  i am also a southpaw, and love old mausers. personally, i find it easier to use a traditional righty bolt b/c i dont have to remove my left hand from the grip, provided im in a benched postition. freehand however i feel your same plight.
