Reloading problem: .44mag

I took 150 rounds of .44mag. apart due to improper powder charge (please don't ask).
My problem now is that when I reassemble the rounds, the bullets (already crimped once) drop into the casing .010" - .020 further than
Min. OL. The rounds now consist of: 10.7 grains of Unique powder, 240 grain lead bullets. The book calls for max. OL 1.610" and
Min. OL 1.600". My OL is 1.580" - 1.610" depending on the round.
Do I need to trash the undersize lot or will they be safe to use?

  REPULL THE BULLETS, THEN DISCARD THE BULLETS, REMOVE THE PRIMER PIN FROM THE SIZING DIE AND RESIZE THE CASES. THEN RELOAD THE CASES WITH THE CORRECT POWDER CHARGE. CRIMP THE NEW BULLETS AS NEEDED AND THEY SHOULD BE READY TO GO. YOU MUST RESIZE THE CASES AS THEY HAVE BEEN OPENED AT THE MOUTH ON THE FORMER LOADING AND THIS IS THE CAUSE FOR THE BULLET FALLING IN TOO FAR.

  The Hammer has loaded a lot of 44s and the crimp only crimps the case into the bullet and don't change it by loading it so i would just go ahead and reload them it wont make any diff in them just re crimp them and make sure you get your power right and you wont have any problems My two cents BiggerHammer [B)]

  You're a little on the hot side for a lead bullet from my info, so anything under 1.6 would have more pressure than you want. I'd pull the bullets on those and reassemble the cases with fresh bullets and the same charge. Safety is the way to go.

  Thanks for the input!
  I will be removing the decapping pin and resizing the cases. The weather in Milwaukee is just right to do this. Cold and snow...
  As far as throwing the lot out, I'm a Swede, we even straighten nails to reuse!
