Savage 22.250 GT

I am in the process of buying a Savage 22.250 with the regular barrel. I have the current Savage catalogue and it lists Model 11G (hardwork stock) and Model 11F(synthetic stock). Recently, I saw an ad for a "new Savage 22.250 Model 11GT" with a "tiger maple" stock. I do not see that model in the Savage catalogue. Is it a current, new Savage or something remodeled by someone?

  I bought one that was chamber for 270 Win. It is definitely a new rifle! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but it is sure a handsome thing.

  Yes, some Savage rifles come from the factory with the tiger maple stock.
