.380 Hollow Points

Are there any Hollow points that are better than any other? Are they all the same? Any help would be great

  I shoot 90 gr Federal Hydra Shok's in my Llama IIIA nerver any feed problems. Never tried any of the others because they work.

  If you re-load you can get the 90gr HP going very fast in a .380. For stoping power look to a Glasser. Then again if you like the size of a .380 but want the stopping power of a 9mm look at the Kahr. My 2 cents. [8D]

  I have my doubts. One sad day, my normally lovable Chow went berserk and started attacking my small dogs. After being bitten about the hand, I had no option but to draw my PPk and press it against her ribcage and fire. She turned loose and staggered into the yard where a final head shot finished her. The shot entered the left ribcage and exited the right where it entered another medium dog beside her.
  
  It entered John D. between the shoulder blades and traveled between the skin and flesh down to his right side. Easy to feel just beneath the skin, a quick trip to the vet to removed it and with a band-aid, John D was no worse from the experience.
  
  Post operative examination of the Remington Golden Sabre 85 grain slug showed NO EXPANSION, NO DEFORMATION. Note that this was after traveling through about 10-12 inches of solid flesh. Normally, on wet newspaper, this round performes well, better than most.
  
  Conclusion: Powdered lead (Glaser or equivalent), shot, etc. may be the best commercially available round to use against unarmored targets. Hollow points MUST impact with something hard to petal. Each shooting is unique.
  
  Use whatever ammo you have, just use it TWICE!
