Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC) Cams

does anybody have experence or knowledge about bullet drop compensator cams? do these actually work? how well. i am considering getting an ATN scope for my AR-15.

  I have a "cheapy" that I use with my AR-15...it works, I'm sure there are better ones. You get what you pay for! I use a Leupold Mark IV M-3 on my Remington LTR and it works perfect...but only with the same bullet weight and velocity as the "cam" is adjusted (calibrated) for. It's alot of fun for long range shooting because the cross hairs are always on the target...no holding over. Don't know if that helps you or not....if it was up to me I'd say buy it and try it...the AR-15 is light on recoil so moderate priced scopes hold up quit well...it goes on and off very easy if mounted to the carry handle.
