Pricing on an 870 wingmaster 16 gauge?

I'd like to know what you think would be a fair price to pay on the new 16 gauge remington 870 wingmaster, total price "out the door".

  Hello, I would have to say that "Brand New" would be about $325.00 "out the door", for the Wingmaster. Some places charge more, but that would be about average, depending on how nice it is (engraving, nicer wood, English stock, ETC., will all affect the price). Why do you ask?

  supreme one, I'm asking because I'm gonna order one. Bass pro gets $499 and so is gunfinder.net at $499.32. I'm like you, I thought it would be a little cheaper, but the best I can find in around $450. I just thought some of you guys might know where I could buy the gun possibly under $400.........

  Hello, I spoke too soon on that one. I just looked at the Remington website ( http://www.remington.com/firearms/shotguns/fi_870_16ga.htm ) and they want a lot more than I would pay for one. I think I only paid like $200.00 for mine, used, decent shape, older one. Does it HAVE to be the Wingmaster?

  yeh, I really want the wingmaster. I don't like the "plain" look of the 870 express. Remington stopped making the 16 ga. for several years and started making it again recently in all of their lines except the 1187, so I thought I'd better pick one up while they're readily available. Part of why I like the wingmaster is it's time honored tradition of being both a good lookin' gun and a reliable one. From all the info I can gather, it looks like I'm gonna just have to spend about $450 to get it.
