Taurus/Smith&Wesson Grips[?]

Does anyone know if the Taurus 608 can use S&W grips?
I've heard that some are interchangable, but don't know which ones are.
If so, what is the frame clasification of the Taurus and what S&W frame grips will interchange?

I would really like to have a set of Laser Grips on my 608.

  Le Dorm Frix,I once had an older Taurus one of the first ones in my area (around 1982).I tried grips from a Smith Model 66 and they did not fit.The Taurus Mod 66 is suposed to be the same as a Smith Mod. 66 or 19 and Taurus was at one time owned by the Smith & Wesson Mother Company Bangor Punta.I found a lot of differences In the two guns .It was good but but not as good as the Smith.My Son now owns and likes it.
