INFO ON BROWNING HIGH GRADE MODEL 71 PAIR

Interested in information on a pair of rifles I have. They are Browning High Grade model 71 rifle and carbine as a set,they have the same serial # I have heard of consecutive # sets but never heard of same # sets (Rifle has an R in the suffix and Carbine has a C)Just curious if I have something special and what the value would be,,,Thanks for the help,,,,,

  That's the 348 Caliber, right? I've seen plain jane models go for $600 in fair shape. I'm sure the high grade is worth at least $1000 in Exc condition. Sold as a pair would probably be worth more with matching SN's. Technicallyk they are not the same number with different prefixes.

  Ron a complete set I think would inclued Grade1 rifle & carbine also.
  THe model 71 for Browning didn't sell as good as the 1886.

  I HAVE THE GRADE 1 RIFLE WITH SAME # ALSO BUT IT SEEMS THE CARBINE WAS SOLD OFF BEFORE I GOT THE SET,,,,GUESS I`M GOING TO BE DOING SOME SEARCHING FOR THE FOURTH GUN. THANKS ALL.
