Win Model 67 or 68 stock

Just wondering if the stocks on these models are interchangable?Thanks,Bob.

  Deadeye, I recently replaced the stock on a Mod 60 with a Mod 67 stock. I looked for several months without any luck for a Mod 60 stock and was told that the model 67 and 68 stock would fit. I had to work the 67 stock down (from the outside) for the trigger and the mounting screw of the 60 to fit the 67 stock but all the inletting matched up and now all is well. In fact the seller of the Mod 67 stock was not certain whether the stock was actually a 67 or a 68 stock. This is a round-about answer to your question I know but I believe they are similar enough to fit the same rifle actions. As to "interchangeable" I believe the lengths of the forestocks may vary as well as the fact that some of the forestocks are fluted and some are not. I hope this helps some.
