I'd contact Glock directly about it for sure: http://glock.com/contact_us.htm
Some of the experts here might have books that can look it up, but you can likely get a time-frame just by knowing which generation it is. The first generation Glocks have straight grip, the second generation models incorporated fingergrooves in the grip, and the third generation still has the fingergrooves and also adds an accessory rail in front of the trigger. The model 22 has been produced since '92...
I'd also think about editing your post replacing the last couple of digits with xx's or something. It's up to you, but it makes me cringe when I see serials publicly listed.

Good site flatlander (and also welcome to the forums), it is just more proof that users don't need a lot of posts to be of great help. [:)]
I even submitted my number to the topglock one since they didn't require the full number. I know when I bought it, but I don't know how long had past since they built it before I bought it brand-new...
