Russian "Wolf" .223 ammo

I've seen auctions for this ammo at what look like good prices. Can someone verify if the ammo is really non-corrosive? And, if it's any good other than that?

  i have shot Wolf .223 with no problems non corrosive
  it groups about 1 1/4" at 100 yds

  Wolf ammo has a coating that could and I say again could gum up the works if not cleaned after every 250 rounds or so. my 2 cents [8D]

  I've shot it through my mini 14, no problem. I can't vouch for the gumming up after 250 rounds, as I have never fired that many rounds before cleaning my rifle.

  Thanks for the fast replies. I think I'll try some of that wolf ammo. I clean mine way before I fire 250 rounds..and..if I ever fire that much without cleaning it...I'm in ONE HELLUVA FIREFIGHT...and probably should be shot for not ending it sooner!!....lol

  Sir a wise man would treat all communist or former com bloc country's ammo as corrosive....this doesn't mean that it is crappy....just possible corroisve.....I shot 9mm Mak ammo which on the box stated that it was non-corr or erosive...I cleaned the weapon with Hoppies and lubed with BreakFree and when I pulled the bore 2 months later I came up with a rusty patch.....So my advice is first run a couple of soapy patch or a black powder cleaning solvent thru the bore just like it was a black powder weapon....then follow up with a dry one then the Hoppies......I shoot a lot of different com-bloc ammo......BEST OF LUCK.......john......
