I have been lurking and learning for sometime. You folks sure ask and answer a lot of good questions. I repair and performance tune saltwater reels here in Arizona. I have always been a "tinkerer". Always trying to improve things.

My Question- Is there a book or something online that will show me how to take apart and put back together a 1911? I understand these are quite simple handguns. Taking apart a $80 reel and a $500 gun are two different things.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for all the replies.

    Saltwater reels in AZ, yup
6 Hours and I am at Point Loma, boarding a charter boat.
Head out all night and next morning we are on to Albacore, Bluefin, Yellowfin and bigeye tuna. These things are built for speed, and ,an do they fight.

No dedication, just pure fun, Really nice at night when the boat shuts down, you are sitting in the galley with a nice prime rib and your arms are aching from fighting fish.. Anyway this topic has gotten way of target.
