What shells does it shoot?

Remington Model 12CS-22 Special. Loud pop when firing longs and long rifles. Cases swell after fired. Bore looks good no pitting, rifeling present. Won't eject shells and when does won't line up new shell into bore. Acts like lip on bottom of shell to small.

  Same a Rem Special

  Your shooting the wrong ammo in it! The .22 Remington Special is Remingtons version of the .22 Winchester Rimfire (WRF). The ammo your useing has a body diameter .020 less then the .22 Remington Special, that is why your haveing your problems.
