Luger Value ?
Purchased from a local vet. 1939 on chamber. DWM on toggle. Has a stock lug. All parts have a number 0 on them. Mag has an aluminum bottom with other numbers. 4 inch barrel. Walnut grips. Buleing is thin on one side from holster. Surley this wasn't number one that year? Any ideas on what it might be worth?

Sir, If you would post your request for information on the Message Board on the Luger Forum, I'm sure somebody will help you. They have over 1000 members on the forum. Some of them have been collecting Lugers for well over 30 years!

I think that Lugers have the last one or two numbers from the serial number stamped on some of the small parts. The serial number is under the barrel if I remember right. I think that DWM was one of the major makers of Lugers so chances are it is not rare but any Luger in good shape is worth some money. The Luger forum is probably a good idea.
