Ruger serial # help
I am getting ready to list a New Model sigle six stainless steel that has a 6 1/2" barrel without the barrel warning and without a 22 Mag. cylinder. I was hoping someone could date it fo me the serial # is
63-783XX. Thanks ahead of time.

Ser # seems to make it a Super Single six

Were any Super Singles made without the warning on the barrel?0 -

Your Ser# is for a 1975 New Model Super Single Six (.22 LR and .22WMR) Cylinders.

Bear with me I'm not that Ruger smart. Shoudn't it say Super on the side of the frame?

No matter whats on the barrel, it's what the ser # on the frame says it is. The barrel can be changed but not the frame.
