Standard Arms SA-9 (JudgeColt?)
I was looking at an auction the other day for a Standard Arms SA-9. It looks an awefully lot like a Kel-Tec P-11. Does anyone know if the quality of the SA-9 rivals that of the Kel-Tec or what the relationship is between these two companies?

To supplement that, Standard Arms (they were in Nevada) made a big splash in 2000 with the new pistol offered in .380, 9mm and .40. Pricing was too good to be true. They did not last two years.
Note they had to sell dealer direct because most legit distributors would not handle the line.
I am sure there are some pistols that survived without the frames cracking... maybe.0 -
There, you have the story above. They were a very poor clone. Stay with the real thing, no matter how cheap you could buy one. 0 -
IDSMAN75, I had one of those come through years ago. Bad call on my part (for even touching one). First buyer had problems (parts flew off while shooting), the factory fixed it, guy still had problems, traded in later, I got rid of it quickly and cheaply. A total pile, don't waste your money, no matter how cheap it is. The company is gone now, so no more factory repair option. Today, I wouldn't take one in on a bet. 0 -
Hey I've got one, its in pieces right now. I'm about to figure out if its parts will interchange with those of the Kel-Tec P11. 0 -
Oh, yea, bye the way, I'm not going to try to shoot it either, I just wanna get it fixed so I can find some poor idiot to sell it to at the next gun show. They are total pieces of junk. You can really see the sub-standard production of the parts when you compare them side by side with a real Kel-tec. 0
