Pre-64 Win M70 stock question

Hey guys,

I have a pre-64 that is a shooter, not a collector. I bought it with an aftermarket stock. I would like to buy an actual win stock for it. I have found several for sale but my m70 has the cloverleaf tang. Here is my question: Can the new style tang stocks be modified for cloverleaf tang use? Maybe with some creative carving? Any input would be appreciated!
