Need info on Western Field shotgun
I have a 410 pump shotgun I would like info on when it was made. The barrel is 26 inches with no rib. The receiver is marked on the bottom Western Field made in U.S.A. M550E 410GA. The serial # C33287 is on the left side of the receiver. If anyone knows when this rifle was made please email me at MatthewSmith@peoplepc.com any help would be appreciated. Thanks for you interest.

Matthew, what you have is a Montgomery Wards contract shotgun made by Mossberg, I have one in a 20ga. I got my back in 64 as a Xmas present from my folks. My first new shotgun, I have it to this day. Not an expensive weapon, but pretty reliable, and worth about $175 plus or minus.Hope this helps! ...Mark
